| India being a country of great cultural diversity, integration of our mind in cultural activities is the foremost objective of Aabheri. We have started analyzing the core area of development of our cultural heritage, spread amongst various regions and initiating efforts to bring those activities in our agenda in order to the focus and promote it through various platforms by forming intra community cells. We have already started organizing In house activities, Stage shows, theatres and live events on TV channels.
The following events are being conducted regularly by Aabheri members and well wishers in Kolkata, Hyderabad and New Delhi.
Objective :
Meeting with members for social interaction and social work.
Kolkata
Aabheri members have already met at regular intervals in Kolkata to discuss about the social responsibilities. We promoted our gathering in the natural way by making an "adda style" which is a popular word in Kolkata and Bengal.
The members from various parts of India and abroad gathers at the venues and thorough social interaction and friendship, a specific project is initiated at the end of the day. It may be related to the promotion of culture or taking up some social cause.
Hyderabad
In house Gathering
We have started organizing regular show of Bengali films once a month in order to promote old Bengali classics and mainstream films along with other films as well.
We promote it as "in house film show" in order to discuss the merit and the social impact of the show. The members participate very enthusiastically and at the end of the day we discuss about taking up social responsibility. This gives us a synergy and enthusiasm for conducting a successful event which is one of the main objectives of Aabheri.
New Delhi
Similar meetings have taken place in New Delhi by the Aabheri members and well wishers. Members have already gathered at a member's house to have an interaction about social responsibilities. Projects have been initiated for formation of intra community cells to promote regional culture as show of respect to the other community and work for the underprivileged will be taken up in due course of time.
